Windows Explorer issue after install

Hello,

 

I've recently installed Norton Internet Security (Trial version) to check it out (was a Trend Micro user...). Since I've installed it, I cannot:

a) right click on a Folder (on the desktop or in Windows Explorer)

b) delete a folder (by pressing the 'Del' Key)

but  I can drag and drop folders and right click on files...

When I try one of the described action above, I get a popup saying something went wrong, would I like to send a report to Microsoft etc...


This also happens with Norton 360. When uninstalled, this issue disappears.

Using Win XP SP3

 

Any idea what the issue could be or how to resolve it ?
