Since updating from NIS 2009 to NIS 2010 the windows security center says that the firewall and malware are switched off,but the Norton panel says they are on.There seems to be a lot of conflicting information on this problem.According to Norton Support long as Norton says it's working i should ignore it.Norton Support did a remote test and couldn't do anything that i couldn't do,like trying to turn the Norton firewall and malware settings on through windows security center.All they got was the panel saying everything was on and secure,just as i had.The other strange thing is that windows security center doesn't warn me they are off,i just happened to check it after the 2010 installation.Up until a few days ago i could restart the pc and the security center settings would be all green and running properly.Now it doesn't do it at all.Any help on this issue would be handy.
