Hello,
I recently (last week) formatted my PC which is running Windows Vista 64 and NIS 2011.
However since then I've noticed recurring odd behaviour where, the small network icon in the bottom right of the windows tray (and the network and sharing page) will display the network status as local connectivity only (i:e no internet), even though I can be actively browsing the internet in this state. This usually occurs at random, with no notification at all and always changes back to full connectivity (local and internet) shorlty after I open network and sharing having noticed it.
Norton shows no entries in the log for these apparent 'disconnects' and picks up nothing but tracking cookies.
The only medium entries inthe log at all are 'unauthorized access blocked (set regietry security key)' directed at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\currentcontrolset\enum\root\legacy_bhdrvx64\0000\control by svchost.exe in system32
and a few unauthorized access blocked (access process data) directed against ccsvchst.exe from an adobe set up program.
Should I be concerned at all? Primarily with the strange network icon/status issues as I think the blocks are nothing.
Thank you.
