Not sure I'm in the right place - but here goes!
I have a software program that requires Windows Scripting Host to restart the program after an update. The writer of the program seems to think that Norton's aggressive protection of PCs is the culprit. After updating the program it won't restart sending the error that — "Windows Scripting Host (WSH) has been disabled or removed from your computer. It is usually disabled or removed by a 3rd party virus program like Norton or Symantec. You can still KHS but some features will not be available."
I am using Norton 360 and until now everything has worked fine.
Can anyone assist me with figuring how to tell Norton the program is safe and/or how to turn it off in such a way that I can download the update, reopen the program at the new version and then I will turn Norton back on.
Thanks!
David
