So - I have tried each of the suggests I have found to make this work.
I have a VPN - 192.168.1.xxx on one side and 192.168.2.xxx on the other side.
I have a shared folder on 192.168.2.xxx - that I need to access from 192.168.1.xxx.
BTW - I can share this folder on any PC on the 192.168.2.xxx side of things.
If I turn off Both the Norton Firewall and Intrusion Prevention - I can map the folder. If I only turn off one of these - I can not Map/Ping the destination PC.
I am using Norton Internet Security 2011 on all systems. All PC's are running Windows 7 X64. I have two Cisco Gigabit Router/VPN's. I only need to turn off the firewall and IP on the destination PC.
I have tried adding a rule that allows 192.168.1.1 thru 192.168.1.254 on the 192.168.2.xxx PC - but this did not help.
I can also not ping the destination PC - until I turn off the FW and IP.
The little on-line helper was no help.
Any ideas? I don't want to leave these turned off and the person on the PC wants to "Fix the Problem" - which breaks the share.
Thanks in Advance!!!
