Windows subsystem for Linux ver. 2 bypasses Defender Firewall

For those out there who are still using WSL1 things work as advertised. Version WSL2 is now confirmed to bypassed the Defender Firewall which isn't normal behavior. Our good friends over at Bleeping Computer write about implementing "iptables" within WSL2 to protect the VM client while Microsoft figures out things.
