Windows tries to kick out norton

hello,

I want to tell about a clash between - deactivated! - WD and NIS in the update-sequence of 2016-07-16.

I (still) have Windows 7 64 bit. Today the norton IS update requested a new start for an installation. In the second after the new start, when tho old notron was rurned off and the new norton was't fully installed, windows blocked the installation process and told me, that I hadn't any internet security and whether I was going to activate Windows defender or to buy another security product online.

I wondered why norton doesn't interfere and stop windows slowing down (or breaking)  it's installation process.

the moment i activate a new version of NIS I feel very unsafe, if I'm told that now i have no security at all.

It took minutes, really minutes, for NIS to overcome and silence Windows defender.

In the meantime, there was no reaction when I tried to click the norton button on my desktop.
