I removed Symantec Endpoint Protection from my reliable old XP box, and installed Norton Security (yhad to, lost my SEP license through my employer). Norton Security appears to have wrecked the user profiles (when I log in each time, it tells me it can’t access my profile and its going to create a new temporary profile) and none of my stuff is accessible from my original setup. Also, some applications that were previously installed and working have been removed - the West Mountain Radio sound devices are now GONE (this is a ham radio - based PC, running Echolink). Please advise how to unwreck my PC and get it working again!
