WindowsPackageManagerServer internet access

Issue abstract:
Cryptic message never seen before about Windows module trying to connect to Internet

Detailed description:
Just rebooted my PC and a pop-up windows with Norton logo appeared on my screen asking (my translation from Italian): Allow internet access to WindowsPackageManagerServer.exe? It is trying to connect to a92-122-145-129.deploy(dot)static(dot)akamaitechnologies(dot)com thru TCP port 443 (HTTPS)
Options are the following:
1. All in and out connections
2. All out connections
3. Only out connections thru TCP port 443

What does this mean? As I said, I’ve never seen anything like this before.

Product & version number:
Norton 360 v. 24.9.9452 (build 24.9.9452.877)

OS details:
Windows 11
Build 22631.4249

Thanks in advance for your help

@roberto_viale Hello. This process is managing and deploying software packages that are installed on your device. I’ve seen it recently as well and it appears safe. Please review this Microsoft answer on the issue.
