In the following post, regarding FALSE positives  for WirelessNetView, the developer responds immediately, even providing an informative link.

 

Norton/Symantec didn't bother, and closed the thread.

Why not? Does Norton, who charges for their "productivity" software, consider themselves above NirSoft, a longtime respected developer of FREE and very useful software?

 

I am an Information Security professional, and fully support and promote the need for Security software (A/V and other), but not when it stands in the way of the legitimate use of legitimate software!
