I have a DELL D620, with Ghost 10. I have been making backups for a long time without ever having the need to replace the drive. I finally decided to go with a larger drive and when I did 'disc-to-disc' copying, my computer thinks I have a 60 GB hard drive, instead of a 160 GB hard drive. I have read a few related things about this online, but none that seemed to work or fit. I also reloaded the hard drive from a Windows XP disc and then tried to move my 'saved' backup. While loading it kept telling me that I needed to stop a system that was running (that system was Symantec - the Ghost Program!). I clicked ignore for these, but several of my transferred programs would not open or work. So, back to the 'disc to disc' copy method.
How do I get my "My Computer" to recognize this hard drive as 160 GB? I will say that if I do an F12 and go into the setup menu, the hard drive is listed as 160 GB, but under My Computer on Windows XP, it is 60 GB. Thanks to anyone who can help with this.
