With Regard To The Norton Internet Security Update (16.2)

Hello all,

An update has been released for Norton Internet Security. Just like the last patch, we’re using new technology. Because of this, we are distributing this patch in a more controlled manner. Some of you may not receive the update as quickly as others. We will post another announcement shortly when deployment is more widespread. In the meanwhile, your patience is appreciated while the patch continues to be distributed.

A few questions if i may on your above statement

 

1.) If a update for NIS2009 has been released why is it that my LiveUpdate in NIS 2009 is NOT automatically acquiring it?

 

2.)  Please explain in greater detail as too exactly what you mean by your satement  : You are distributing this 16.2 patch in a more controlled manner?
