wmplayer.exe Listed As "infamous.exe" in Fix-It Utilities Pro

Hello,

I have Norton Security, Ver 22.5.4.24 and Fix It Utilities (FIU) Pro 15.6.32.12 on a Win 8.1, Intel Core i7 4700MQ laptop computer.

In FIU/Optimize/PC Analyzer/Active

the process infamous.exe shows, with publisher Microsoft Corporation, whenever I start WMP12, but not what should show which is wmplayer.exe or  Windows Media Player.exe

At the same time another FIU option,

FIU/Overview/Dashboard/Processes/Running

shows the correct Windows Media Player.exe listed, and not infamous.exe .

The FIU/Optimize/PC Analyzer/Active also contains the statements for infamous.exe,

"Added by unknown malware. WMPLAYER.EXE is stored in the location and uses

the same name as Windows Media Player but that valid Windows program, dosen't

load at startup"

---

Task Manager shows Windows Media Player

and C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe passes a Norton Security scan.

A search of the C: drive finds no instance of infamous.exe, nor does a registry search.

Norton File Insight shows nothing unusual for wmplayer.exe (12.0.9600.16384).

---

A Google search indicates it might be, or have been, a key logging program.

While I was testing this Norton Security automatically found and deleted Trojan.Gen.2

in c:\windows\system32\roboot64.exe .

---

Any ideas if a threat is or was present and where FIU/Optimize/PC Analyzer/Active gets its incorrect program name ?

Thank you
