I have been experiencing a number of issues possibly related to Word and/or macros. For example, my work email virus scan now blocks almost all Word docs I try to email, saying they have been scanned and contain virii. This is happening even on old documents that I know should be clean. I am wondering if this is really a virus, or just something that the computer "sees" as one. I have tried most Word tricks, including clicking the Macro Protection box in Word Preferences and pasting text into a new, clean Word doc. I have jsut finished installing Parallels on my Mac, and also wonder if this newfound "virus" is related somehow to that install.
I am not currently running Norton, but am considering purchasing to get rid of this problem. I am concerned that NAV may not "fix" this issues, particularly if it is not a real virus. Does anyone here have any experience with these issues? Thanks in advance for the help, I am off to search the rest of the web re: this problem.
