I am extremely frustrated with both the SEP11 product and the customer service. SEP11 crashed on me for the 5th time.
This time it gave warnings it wasn't functioning and said it was because of a bad installation. I've had it for 5 months and these crashes have only been happening for the past 2 weeks. Bad installation sounded like a stupid reason.
So I uninstalled it. But it wouldn't let me reinstall so I searched online and found a manual method. I went through all the steps for windows 7. Then I tried to reinstall it and it didn't work. Someone online mentioned CleanWipe, but I was not able to access the online support to get it as it required some number I didn't have. After 8-9 hours of trying to find a way of uninstalling it or reinstalling it, I gave up.
I've called customer service now for support. Looking at the time on my phone, I have been on the line for 3 hours and 42 minutes. This is pathetic customer service. And what an awful product to have to remove. I consider myself quite tech savvy, and for me not to be able to get rid of it with ease, SEP11 is a virus in itself.
Since it is now approaching 4 hours of me being on the line hearing "we appreciated your patients... blah blah blah" , I would appreciate any help from this forum. Probably would take less time for people to reply here than for the customer service to pick up their phone.
