Wrong subsricption expiry date

 Cood evening,

I purchased a new laptop on Sept 27th 2011 with 60 days free norton trial. My supplier installed norton version 5 on it for me to activate when the 60 days had expired. I registered it on Nov 24th 3 days before the expiry of the free trial. My subscription status said I only had 318 days left. I tried to use the live chat and I input the product key again, downloaded version 5 again, restarted the laptop and still have 318 days left. Live chat does not understand the problem and keeps telling me to input the key, download and restart. I cannot e-mail customer support because the continue button does not work Could someone please assist? I want to get this sorted before I put version 5 onto my PC in about a months time when version 4 expires.
