When I check the Online family website the times listed are 6 hours ahead of our local time. I have checked all our computers and they are all set on the correct time for our time zone. I did a search for this already and the solution was an updated version. I downloaded this application this past weekend so unless an updated version has come out between then and now I am unsure how to fix this. Tried to get help through Chat, but tech wanted to access our computers through remote, sorry no thank you. Any suggestions how to fix this?
Hi mschultz77,
Do you have the "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" option selected?
Are your PCs synchronized with any websites?
Thanks,
Katie
No idea. Where would I look for that setting?
Hi,
Please select your PC Start button -> Control Panel -> Date and Time -> Internet Time
Thanks,
Katie
Under the tab Internet Time it says "This computer is set to automatically synchronize with time.windows.com
mschultz77,
Thanks for the reply. We will check into the time issue.
Thanks,
Katie
I am having the same issue. It appears the reports are using UTC rather than the time zone of the computer. I don't use the time blocking feature, so I don't know if that works correctly. However, I am positive that the reports are off by several hours. It seems like the day changes with UTC instead of local time.
Hi anon123,
We are working on a solution for this. Will get back to you soon.
Thanks,
Senthil
Hi anon123,
Norton Online Family now has an option to set your own timezone.
1. Login to Norton Online Family.
2. On the top left, click Manage Account.
3. Change the timezone as per your location.
Please let us know if this fixes your problem.
Thanks,
Senthil
