WS.Trojan.H Virus Detected in compressed file after automatic download. Computer is acting strange.

I was trying to view a discussion board when I suddenly got the download insight analyzer appear on the lower right corner of the screen. Turns out this was some kind of threat or malicious file that downloaded automatically from some other website. I find this very suspicious because this was not the name of the site that I went to.

The download insight states the file name is rtdvq6cjosxdrwba.exe / WS.Reputation.1 from the site little.vugut.pro

Now when I tried to run a LiveUpdate it dosen't work!

The updates fail and arent working! I don't know what's wrong with it, Norton said that the file is quarentined and removed but the updates are still not working, I really need some opinions and help here because I haven't got a clue on whats going on right now!!!!!

I then ran a quick scan and nothing appeared but then when I ran a full scan I got 9 threats that where detected by the virus scanner in a compressed file.  So not only did that file download itself but now it left something malicious on my desktop!

What I don't understand is that I went to a discussion board but then this malicious download happened automatically and apparently put some kind of file that appeared malicious on the computer and now it seems some things might be breaking down. Certain things are missing and the recommend action box is blank.

This is my desktop computer using Windows Vista.

I also had got a "cold call" about 2 days ago claiming that something was wrong with my computer but of course I knew this was a scam and I did not give any information or even touch my computer. I hung up. I don't think this could be related but is it possible for them to still find your computer even though you didn't give any information?!?!  Please help me out as ANY help will be appreciated!

Thanks!
