Firstly thanks for reading this.
From time to time, when using the internet, typically Facebook and Ebay but it can happen anywhere, Google Chrome opens another tab with the URL www. totaladperformance .com/** (where ** represents the rest of the address). This URL doesn't stay long the URL then changes to an advert for some product or other. I imagine that www. totaladperformance .com is some agency that retailers sign up to and once they have a presence on your PC they will show adverts from subscribed retailers.
I have searched the internet for information in this site but can't find anything. Can anyone help me to get rid of this extremely annoying piece of software? I can't find anything on my PC.
