www . w44fs . com ??

I have, and am running the current version of Norton Internet Security.

I use Google as my Internet browser.

I use Windows 7 X64.

I use Internet Explorer 9.

Eventually, as I access the Internet, my computer receives a script error warning, and the warning describes www .w44fs . com as the cause of the warning.  My browser, Google, then receives blank pages.  Sometimes I'm able to delete the blank pages using Ctrl +Alt+Delete.  Sometimes I'm unable to use Cntl+Alt+Del to delete the blank pages.

The 'popup(s)' from the blank pages slow Internet processing TREMENDOUSLY.  If I'm unable to eliminate the blank pages from the Google browser, Internet processing is locked up.

The w44fs . com virus seems to create unresolved addresses on my computer, for its registry.  Sometimes, when I run a registry cleaning program on my computer the 'problem' is temporarily corrected.

I don't see www. w44fs . com(or anything remotely like it) on my computer, so I don't know how to delete it.  I don't know how it got on my computer.  I don't know its purpose (I assume it's a virus).

I ran a search on www. w44fs . com and clicked on one of the links associated with the search engine's results.   The resultant website said, since I use Internet Explorer, my computer was not allowed to access the website.

I contacted another forum other than Norton that tested the virus using an application called VirusTotal and the forum said 'malicious' files submitted to VirusTotal were found to communicate with www. w44fs . com's assigned IP.

Do you have any suggestions how to eliminate this www. w44fs . com virus?  Has Norton Internet Security come accross this problem - www. w44fs . com?  Help.

Thanks, Mark.
