I have 3 computers using XP AND I do not have the time, expertise or money to make the change by April 8th. Options? How good of protection will NIS give me when Windows XP updates end? I use my desktop to go to school on line so I have the school site I must attend and many google searches for information related to the studies. Do I need to remove all personal info off this machine in case security is breached? As long as Norton is supporting XP AM I SAFE? Windows Adviser says my desktop can be converted to Windows 7 but again stresses for time and money..... Perhaps in the Fall. Can I take the chance..... or go out and sell some blood?
Hi, kifar. As Dick says, a little commonsense goes a long way. You may wish to download WOT for your browsers, if you don't already have it.
If either Norton and/or WOT red flag a site, keep away.
Doing back up malware scans with MalwareBytes and/or SuperantiSpyware, will also help keep your system clean.
Norton is your primary protection, but having these other scanners will help your peace of mind.
