I just used ghost 14 to clone 160gb wd drive and after shutdown i removed the old drive and booted off of new drive booted fine but added new boot selection which i deleted = run\msconfig\boot.ini\check all boot paths\remove invalide boot path
so back on subject booted new drive and now xp pro say major hardware change 3 days to relicense is this normal did not find any post on this this is a valid license for this computer (desktop server running xp pro) i just had my jobs out side IT man reinstall xp and wanted to have a backup for just in case (2nd time windows corupted files after shutdown they built it and don't have an answer)
this drive only has OS on it data on a 2 hdd raid .
clicked copy mbr and set drive active
ps 1 time trying to clone drive it froze at welcome screen. Deleted formated partion and recloned and now i'm here.
