I downloaded some movies that were "supposed" to be encoded with the "new" Divx encoder
well when I boot my iMac into Windows 7 Ultimate w/Norton Internet Security on it and try to view these files with the windows media player (since they will NOT open AT ALL on the Apple OS X 10.7.5) it wanted my to download the Xvid Codec from the website superxvid.com
I leet it download and everything was in Chinesse (Mandarin) and I about let it finish installing and then I desided to do a restart in the middle of it since it would NOT let me quit the installer.
I then downloaded Malware Bytes, the Microsoft Malware scanner and also let Norton upgrade virus definitions BUT NORTON should be checking for MALWARE, not some OTHER COMPANY.
NO ONE get's viruses anymore, that's SO 90's....
NOW it's Malware to open ports and accept incoming connections THEN you get the virus or ROOT KIT MALWARE
Anyway, if you have to download Xvidupdate.EXE it is MALWARE
I can NOT put this into the community insight screen and Norton is being a **bleep** in closing the malware forum, because people get MALWARE, NOT VIRUSES..........your buisness model sucks. Learn to change with the times
