'You are protected' green box stays up and blocks lower right-hand corner

I uninstalled Norton Premier yesterday and then installed Norton Deluxe, per a chat with a Norton rep. Ever since then there’s a green ‘You are protected’ box just above the system tray that never goes away. It’s blocking messages that I get. Is there a way to get around this?
This is a Windows 10 PC
By the way, I first tried to chat with someone this morning but I no longer have a chat button available.

and you’ve run Norton LiveUpdate thrice + Restart (not Shut down) machine twice?
