"Your computer has a fix in progress..."

My Norton 360 Premier window shows "green checks" for Security, Indentity, Backup and Tuneup, but also the subject message.  The first time I encountered this, I let the box run at least 24 hours, giving it time to complete the fix, and the message remained.  So, I rebooted and ran the full scan and autofix again with the same result (another 24 hours and still all "green checks" and this fix-in-progress message).  What's up with this?  Can I trust the "green checks" any more than that "dead message"?

Thanks.

PS:  I've got a new HP Pavilion g7 notebook computer with Windows 8 and Office 2010.
