Issue abstract: ‘your Facebook account is disconnected, and we need your help to reconnect with us.’

Detailed description:

I got an email, apparently from myidentity . norton . com saying my Facebook account has been disconnected. This looks scammy to me. But is it?
Is there a better place than this forum to discuss/report scam emails relating to Norton?

Product & version number: I have Norton 360 25.12.1 but got not warnings from the installed Norton software on my Mac.

OS details: MacOS Tahoe 26.2

What is the error message you are seeing? None - scam concern

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

hmm, it’s hard to tell from the screenshot if it’s fake or not. We cannot link Facebook with Norton account login, so I am not sure how you managed to link Facebook with Norton. Anyways, if it doesn’t bother you then it’s best to just ignore the email.

Fake, ignore it
