You're one click from your destination

In trying to get to my electricity provider's website, I accidentally typed in www . coserve . com (instead of www . coserv . com) and got the page below.  On this page, I may have clicked on the link in the past but hesitated to click on it today.  Can someone please tell me what this means and if there's anything I need to be aware of.  I was using Chrome and am using Windows 10.  Thanks.

I believe this answers my question.  It seems to be a legitimate safe browsing extension.  Originally,  I tried to look for it in the app store and couldn't find it, but now I can find it under "extensions."  So perhaps there's nothing to worry about, but odd that this appeared out of nowhere just by mistyping my electric provider's web address.

I used to have the Norton extensions enabled in Chrome but it was becoming annoying and I disabled them.  I guess I have to re-deploy them to be safe.

first try to reproduce (sandbox'd - no extensions)

second try to reproduce (sandbox'd - no extensions)

FWIW ~ YMMV

I may have clicked on the link in the past

Please don't do that.  Especially for a site that you know you have typed in incorrectly.  There are tons of these "click here to optimize your pc" etc.  It's all garbage, do NOT click and do NOT trust.  Exit out immediately, and, if your browser will not close, manually power down your system.  To be safe, i would run a scan with Malwarebytes': https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/

Additionally, please do not hyperlink to potentially malicious domains here.

Take care,

Not sure (the page is blocked on my system) but it looks like you may have just missed a poor phishing attempt.  Further details say that this website is for sale; good job on not clicking anything else there.

Do you have all the Norton extensions enabled in Chrome?  If so you should be safe.
