YouTube blocked altogether--as SUICIDE-RELATED?

Hi, all!

 

Our child watches a lot of music videos on YouTube, before deciding whether to ask us to buy the song. Now that we've installled Norton Family, it's blocking all YouTube content, saying the site is suicide-related! 

 

There are, in fact, a whole lot of videos on YouTube that we'd probably like blocked, given our child's age, but suicide would not have been one of the first reasons that would have come to mind! LOL Also, of course, we kind of like our child being able to screen songs, even showing them to us sometimes, before we buy them.

 

Is there any way to adjust the rules so that only age-inappropriate content on YouTube (and not the entire site) is blocked?

Hi DistEd2,

 

The issue should have been resolved.  I checked the categories for youtube.com and it is not rated as  suicide-related now.  If you are still experiencing the issue,  please let us know what the exact URL is indicated on the block page.  Is it possible that you could post a screen shot of the block page here?
