I have Sucuri SiteCheck in my Bookmarks, and use it very often, also for rechecking familiar sites, like YouTube.com, for instance, and here are the results.
Screenshot #1/3 - SucuriSiteCheck Rating
Screenshot #2/3 - Blacklisting Status Tab
Screenshot #3/3 - Domain clean by Google Safe Browsing…. – reference
Note: English text automatically given by Chrome (“Translate Option” in the dropdown menu which opens right clicking on a blank area of the page).
In conclusion, I‘m confused!
Sucuri SiteCheck rates YouTube.com as a safe site, in spite of the result of a “reference” they apparently take into consideration to formulate their rating ? How come ? Am I missing something here ?
Many thanks in advance for any enlightening comments/explanations.

No, you’re not going crazy. Being a reviewer for Safe Web, I see these inconsistencies all the time. In my attached screenshot, you will see that I looked up gamingharbor.com in URLVoid and it says that the site has been blacklisted by hpHosts, however, when I went to Hosts directly to confirm - - they do not have it blacklisted. Classic case of one hand not knowing what the other is doing. Things change, and if communications are not updated frequently, there is the result.
Hope this answers your question,
H.B.
Hi H.B.,
Many thanks for taking the time to reply.
Yes, the situation is now clearer to me, indeed an anything but reassuring situation, also considering that one would think that a site like You Tube - in terms of visitors - is kept clean from any possible form of threat, but it isn't so, obviously.

Unfortunately, in today's day and age of the Internet, I don't think there is a website in existence, that would be guaranteed threat free at all times
We just have to continue using common sense the second we get online.

Hi Ed,
"We just have to continue using common sense the second we get online."
I agree, but going to a site where I know in advance I could receive an "unwanted gift", makes me feel like walking on quicksands!
Glad to be of help. While on the topic of YouTube, it has come to my attention that when users are reporting certain vids inappropriate, they are not being removed. This is a disturbing pattern to say the least. To Safe Web's credit, when reviews are flagged for uncivilised content, usually, they are removed in a timely manner.
