System tray icons sometimes missing.

My laptop is an Acer 5738Z with Windows 7 Home premium and NIS 2010.

My problem is that sometimes, some of the icons in the system tray are missing-it can be any of them.Norton, battery, speakersor network. If I switch off and reboot, magically they are all back.Sometimes,it is one icon missing, sometimes two of them.Has anyone else had this irritating fault.

If you still have a problem after trying  Vineeth's suggestion, try :-

Right click on empty part of taskbar, select 'Properties', then 'Customise'.

Then tick the box at the bottom of next window, 'Always show all Icons and notifications on the taskbar'

Also, in the same window, click the 'Link', Turn System Icons on  or  off'.

In next window, are all the system Icons you want, set to 'ON' ?

Do they stay there afer this.
