Adobe Flash in Microsoft Edge
On February 6, Windows Update installed an Adobe Flash Update (Security Update for Adobe Flash Player For Windows 10 Version 1709 - KB4074595).
However, after clicking into a website in the Microsoft Edge browser, Norton denied access, removed, then Quarantined some Adobe Flash malware.
Three entries in Norton's Security History are as follows:
2) The next entry says: Same, Removed
3) Last entry says flashplayer.hta, ISB.Downloader!gen48 (Detected by Auto-Protect)
All of these entries have a High Severity Level.
My question is, Why is this happening since the update for Flash was already installed on February 6? As far as I know, Microsoft has not released any patches for Flash since the update on February 6.
Norton, I'm asking you if you know of any patches that need to be installed and, if so, where do I go in the Internet to get it? Looking in the user/appdata/local folder, this ISB Downloader is occurring within the Microsoft Edge browser.
Thanks in advance for your help.
