What is happening about security in MS Edge and Cortana in Win10?

When I installed Win 10, I was warned that Norton Security did not provide security when using MS Edge and Cortana?  I've heard nothing further - is my PC safe when using them now?  If not, what are Win 10 users supposed to do?

Norton doest not support yet the Microsoft Edge browser for Norton toolbar as it is a new separate browser mainly design for Windows 10 OperatingSytem (Toolbar is an additional protection for browser) .But your Norton offcourse still protects you from any online attacks or it work perfectly in Windows 10. For the meantime, you can used another browser (e.g InternetExplorer or Chrome) for Norton toolbar.

Hello

When Microsoft allows the use of extensions in Edge, then Symantec and Norton can start to use Toolbars which can help with doing different functions. In the meantime, you can use IE 11 in Windows 10 and still get to use your ID Safe.

Thanks.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.18.0.213 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.

Re: What is happening about security in MS Edge and Cortana in Win10?

I have stuck with IE ever since I have been using Windows.

I understand that MS is putting the screws on for people to use Edge: I WON'T

The security features of Norton are much more important to me than whatever new gimmickry Edge has to offer.

I have had Edge installed for months: never looked at it, I waited, hoping for Edge to open up to Norton.

I am planning to move to Chrome instead: I already installed it.
