When I choose to renew subscription I enter my new key, but the period begins to count from today and not from the end of old subscription...

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums!
Only renewing online on the Norton website automatically adds the days left on the previous subscription. If you bought your new Product key elsewhere, like many users do to pay a cheaper price, you should contact Norton Customer Support and ask them to please add to your renewal the remaining days on the old subscription.
