Norton Security unable to sign in using tablet keyboard

After the latest update to the Norton Security applications, I'm unable to login.  It brings up the login page, but it won't accept input from the onscreen keyboard.  I have Surface 3 tablet, without an external keyboard.  The on screen works fine as i am writing this on it.

Re: Norton Security unable to sign in using tablet keyboard

I am continuing to have this issue.  Norton Security app is not signed in.  When I click the signin link it states it is connecting to the server, then after awhile it it will show the login screen asking for the user id and password.  On my tablet I can't type anything in these fields.  It just have the blue cursor/balloon.  It does not respond when typing on the on screen keyboard.

Re: Norton Security unable to sign in using tablet keyboard

I have the same problem using a Linx 10 tablet on Win 10. The only solution I found was to borrow a USB keyboard and plug it in using a OTG USB lead. But that is only a workaround and not a solution. I've made some changes to my account and now need to log in again, so I need to borrow a keyboard again.

No it isn't intermittent, it is permanent. The software doesn't respond to inputs from the keyboard so the server is never queried.

For both users.... Did the application ever work correctly with the on screen keyboard?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Norton Security unable to sign in using tablet keyboard

I'm pretty certain I was previously logged in, but I'm not 100%.
