Subscription for new laptop

I have a current subscription for my home computer that has 9 months left on it. I just bought a new laptop and want add it to my subscription. How do I upgrade my subscription to allow more computers on it?

You can contact Norton Support and they can help you upgrade your subscription if necessary.   www.norton.com/contactcs

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

First of all, please make sure you do not any other live security programs installed one. Most new computers do come with a trial security program. If there is one, it will need to be removed using the removal tool from that other company.

Does your current Norton program allow for more computers on it, if so, do you still have room on you current subscription for it? Please answer these questions first before you actually install it on your new laptop. Also, what Norton product do you have a subscription? Please answer these basic questions first so that we have some basic information  After we get the answers to these questions we van then continue with the process.

I can remove the other security program that's installed once I can add Norton's protection. My current subscription says its only for one computer. My Norton subscription includes Identity Protection and Internet Security.

In that case you will need to upgrade your subscription to one for Deluxe Norton Security. In that case, you are best off to follow peterweb's recommendation to contact Customer Support at www.norton.com/contactcs
