Cannot download security de luxe to xp machine
I purchased a new copy of Norton De Luxe security to 5 machines to replace last year's copy. My XP machine showed the previous copy to be a trial version (it was not) and I could not get this machine to accept the new software. So I deleted the machine from my account to start again. Same result! I gave the problem to the help desk. After 90 minutes on my machine they had to give up - still no result, and this despite this machine running Norton for years! What's going on? The machine is not important and is used only for music but I do want it protected. The help desk seemed to think my machine would not download anything but I doubt this to be true. What could be stopping the download succeeding. I'm baffled!!
