later bedtime/additional daytime restriction settings?

Hello -- it seems like there is no way to set a bedtime later than 11:30 on the Core.  This is particularly problematic if you have older teens (on the weekends when a later bedtime is reasonable) because the only other option seems to be to set to unlimited.  Am I missing something?

Also -- there seems to be no way to set up restrictions in other than the bedtime restrictions.  For example, there seems to be no way to set up a time to turn off the internet from 7pm-9pm for homework time.  Again, if I am missing something, I would love to hear a fix.

It seems like the Core's approach to parental controls was designed for younger children -- and lacks some of the options other routers have which are particularly helpful for older teens.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: later bedtime/additional daytime restriction settings?

Hello questionman, welcome to the forums. Unfortunately Core firmware in its latest build version 267 has not had the ability to set a bedtime after the 11:30 pm default cutoff. It has been brought to the development team on more than one occasion along with other feature additions which for the most part have been ignored. Follow this guide and have another look at the way you have your restrictions set, by device and who is using it at the times prescribed. As well as whether a user has more than one device needing restrictions. Although I am a Core owner/user I don't have children in the home and have no need to use these settings so I can only offer the official guidelines. Hopefully something simple has been over looked and easily taken care of.

Cheers
