Can't Renew Subscription

Basically I go to add a subscription and nothing is in my cart. I've tried this on windows, mac, and my cellphone. All give me the same thing.

Do you have ad blockers on your devices? If so, try disabling them.

Is this the first time you are trying to purchase a Norton product?

Where are you trying to purchase your Norton. When I click on Subscribe, I am taken directly to the payment pages. (after I disable my ad blocker).

So how you click subscribe and it takes you to a payment page it takes me to the page where you see all the plans. (I already had a subscription for about 3 months). When I click subscribe to the one I want it takes me to another page that says the cart is empty. It isn’t a new window like a pop up it’s in the same window.

What country's Norton site are you visiting?

Do you have any ad blockers installed on your browser(s)? What other extensions might you have on all your devices?

When I get home I need to check to make sure any pop up blocker is off (although it allows me to do things like pop up the chat window for norton help). How do I know the country for the website? (Also when I am in my account I click subscribe it sends me to a link so even that url isn’t working). I don’t believe my work computer or phone has custom extensions.

To see what country's Norton site you are using, scroll down to the bottom of any page on Norton.com. On the left side you will see the country listed.

Are you at work now? Do you see the same thing if you try to purchase Norton from a computer at your work?

Says us on both. See I go to the top page to "subscribe now" then it takes me to the second page. 

Next question. How do I delete my account?

And did you check for ad blocker extensions in your browsers? There is definitely something odd going on here, as you are seeing it on a PC, a Mac and mobile device. 

Are you actually in the US? 

Which account are you asking to delete?

Here is another one. Top left shows I have an item in my cart and at right says I'm not signed in. Both apparently is false. I am signed in (if i click sign in i already am) and at left if I click my cart it opens the next page saying its empty.

I'm still stumped about why you are not getting directed to the checkout pages when you click on subscribe. I get the following page without having to sign in.


And you still have not answered about ad blockers. What other browser extensions do you have installed? Maybe one of those is blocking the redirect to the cart.

Thanks for reporting in Norton Community Forums. I'm able to repro this issue on my computer with DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials extension enabled. Can you please try again with placing order with DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials extension disabled and let us know the issue status?

@Sunil_GA I don’t have DuckDuckGo. But I was able to get ahold of someone on Norton chat last night and they were able to renew my subscription from Norton side. Now my issue is the VPN not connecting. How do I know the rest of the antivirus works?

@peterweb I don’t have ad blockers or extensions beyond the Norton extension to show if a website is safe.

The issue with connecting to the VPN feature in the new 360 products is a know issue and is being worked on.
