sometimes 2 instances of N360 in SystemTray on startup (NEEDS PERM FIX, not bandaids)
Finally, after FOUR MONTHS of my constant Reports and attempts to get it escalated - the NSW issue (case: 40785398) I reported has indeed BEEN FIXED!!! But you are NOW PLAYING THE SAME BLAME AND EXCUSE MAKING GAMES WITH THIS ISSUE....
This is the 3rd time in 4 weeks that I had reported DUPLICATE N360 IN SYSTEM-TRAY (case: 41148777). A simple reboot MAY/OFTEN clear it up (but, one time, one of the RemoteConnect Techs had to do a deep dive into the bowels of the N360 startup options/settings and items needed cleaning (my main complaint here is the far too frequent QUIRKY multi-instances of N360 showing up in Tray that can often be cleared/corrected by a RESTART) BUT IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I KEEP OFFERING A FIX THAT YOU KEEP IGNORING!!!! And I'm in the middle of too many things to take the time to reboot just for this - which, again, SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Listen, I'm getting REALLY TIRED of playing games w/ Support for this recurring issue. Just spent FOUR MONTHS of wasting my time/effort w/ NortonSafeWeb problem (kept trying to PASS THE BUCK, blame the Browser, Blame my machine, pretty much BLAME ME) that they finally escalated to Engineers & I was proven Right on/with and they finally got around to FIXING (rather than band-aiding, result is the current 22.214.171.124 NSW update/rollout - so I know what I'm talking about! So, CAN WE AVOID PLAYING GAMES FOR ANOTHER FOUR MONTHS ON THIS ISSUE?!?!

HOW ABOUT A SERIOUS ADDRESSING OF THIS ISSUE I KEEP REPORTING THAT NEVER GETS ADDRESSED/ESCALATED?!?! PERMA-FIX for N360 DUPLICATE ENTRIES start/run in SysTray! N360 should check if already running & avoid starting duplicate of itself (check if running, if so, suppress/cancel start of what would become an additional instance of the program running)!!! VERY SIMPLE PERMANENT FIX, BUT FRONT-LINE SUPPORT CONTINUES TO REFUSE TO ESCALATE/ADDRESS no matter how many times I report it.
ESCALATE THIS AND LET'S GET IT FIXED, rather than wasting time dealing w/ it every time it re-occurs! I am tired of having to report this same issue once every few months but sometimes on a week after week basis, over & over, & continue to repeat this response HOPING SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY GIVES A DAMN WILL FINALLY ESCALATE AND GETS THIS TAKEN SERIOUSLY/CARE-OF!
