Is Password Manager just piggybacking on the browser-stored passwords?
I'm installing the Norton suite that includes Password Manager for the first time. Other managers I have used have a "vault" that resides on my hard drive that I can access without being online. Norton however appears to be just extensions or add-ons to the browser that retrieves and loads passwords already stored in the browser. The browser will do that by itself.
1. Is there more to Norton's password manager o is it just another interface with the browser's password storage?
2. Can I access Norton's password manager when I'm off line?
