New patch during 20.4.0.40 install.

Hello. Just recently, I checked LiveUpdate that implyed that the 20.4.0.40 update was available and required a reboot. It also said that there was a patch available. I complied with the patch and closed all open programs as it installed it. During the installation, NIS was temporarily closed, then started up again after the patch was applied. I checked NIS and LiveUpdate and it seemed that 20.4.0.40 was installed. In the history, Is all this normal? Is there reason to be concerned for NIS closing? Thanks!

Re: New patch during 20.4.0.40 install.

The patch changes the bits and bytes involved with the Norton program. For the new code to take effect, the program needs to be restarted. So yes, it is normal for this to happen.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
