Statistical Submission: f_02fe59

Hello. In security history, I noticed an entry that said "Statistical Submission: f_02fe59". I don't recall seeing this before. It appears to be pending and the file seems to be associated with Google Chrome somehow. Does any of this seem dangerous? Thanks.

Re: Statistical Submission: f_02fe59

Hi caleb89sw
I'm no genius with computers or Norton but I thought that Statistical Submissions are files of interest being sent to Norton? I get the same ones being sent again and again and again. What I'm thinking is that it could be a new update for Chrome or something and Norton has no information on this folder so is getting some from the submission. I don't use chrome so I can't check. I also believe that if this file was suspect to be malicious or in any way dangerous that Norton would have it removed without a second thought.

I'm sure everything's fine :)

Ok. Thanks for getting back to me quickly.

Just a little bit of extra information. Here's the location the file appeared to originate from. Hope this help at all.

Re: Statistical Submission: f_02fe59

Hi caleb89sw
You're welcome and I'm not too good with tech parts of computers like where things download too but to me that looks like a normal place where a update of some sort would be installed too. I think as long as your scans are clean there's no computer weirdness and the green tick is on Norton then there shouldn't be much to worry about.
Hopefully someone else will post here just for a bit of clarification on where that's installed too but I'm almost certain that's nothing to be worried about.

Just chill out and relax!
Regards
