safeweb.norton.com/heartbleed Cannot Check Active HTTPS Site

Hello,

 I would like to check

 https://my3account.three.ie

 

 however I get a "Something is wrong here" response from the   http://safeweb.norton.com/heartbleed     website.

The main webpage,   https://www.three.ie   gets an OK from the    http://safeweb.norton.com/heartbleed    check.

 

https://my3account.three.ie is active and accessible at the time of the check. It also shows a green closed lock symbol on the browser. I have the Latest Chrome browser with Win 8.1 and up to date Norton 360.

 

  Any ideas on what the issue might be that prevents Norton from checking the site ?

Leave out the my3account, just enter three.ie as the website to check.

Thanks, that works.

 However can you tell me why?. I have looked at the reasons listed on the "Why?" webpage linked to a "Something is wrong here" response. If myaccount.three.ie is a valid https URL then why can   http://safeweb.norton.com/heartbleed   not check it.

 

 The possible reasons listed on the "Why?" webpage are,

 

Unable to resolve hostname.The issue could be one of the following:
  • The URL might have been entered incorrectly.
  • The server might not exist.
Unable to connect to destination.The issue could be one of the following:
  • The URL might have been entered incorrectly.
  • The server might not exist.
  • There was a protocol error.
Destination disconnected.There is a technical issue that prevents us from checking the site.Connection timed out. There is a technical issue that prevents us from checking the site.HTTP URL provided. The server is an HTTP server rather than HTTPS (Heartbleed does not affect HTTP).

Hi, abcdhughes. As SOJ suggests leaving out my3account and your problem accessing it with those words, is because it's not recognised as a legitimate url.

As you say, the site itself has the green light from Symantec, so I don't think you need to be concerned.

When I attmpt to visit https://my3account.three.ie, I initially land on an SSO login page that needs to be clicked through in order to reach the server at my3account.  Perhaps that is why the Norton heartbleed checker is unable to return any information.
