2-factor authentication in Password Manager not working with new phone

Issue abstract:2-factor authentication with Samsung S24 Ultra

Detailed description: I have a new Samsung S24 Ultra with the same phone number as my old phone. For Password Manager on my PC, the 2-factor authentication was configured to send a verification code to my phone number and my new phone is not receiving the verify code. I am only prompted for the password sign-on with out passing through to my phone now. I have deleted the authentication from my settings completely and added back the SMS authentication and received a code to confirm the setup and completed the verification on Norton with the new code sent. I have also added Microsoft Authenticator as an alternate and verified through the Authenticator on my phone. However, when I click on the Password add on in my browser, there is no two-step authentication performed.

When you deleted the authentication, you need to also delete the old registered phone. Even though you have the same phone number, it is a unique serial number for the Norton Password Manager, NPM, app that is used to identify the phone for the Passwordless Vault Unlock.

So after you delete the old phone, go through the setup process again after installing NPM on the phone.
