Is it normal to have a Norton Tray Icon in the box above the arrow and one on the taskbar? I was under the impression that once you chose to have it displayed on the taskbar that it disappears from the box? What to do?

Hi julio99,
Something to try, in the box, click on Customize. Thenscroll down thru the ICONs and see if there hppens to be 2 Norton Icons. If 2 icons, select Hide Icon and otifications from the drop down menu. Please also check to make sure "Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar is not checked. OK out.
If that does not help - rebooot your system and check again.
Let us know if that helps.
I cleared the Notification cache and that did the trick. I always keep the Norton Icon in the taskbar. I can keep an eye on any changes without waiting for a notification.

Thanks for the feedback julio99. Did you use CCleaner (Advanced Options) to do that or is thre some other way I need to learn about?
Glad you got it sorted.
I used a batch file I had made for that pupose. Just a bit faster. that's all!
