35 useless answers

I joined Norton Community yesterday to ask a simple question about how to turn off a 'Sync Data' reminder which keeps on appearing on my screen - I find today I have 34 e-mails from Norton Community - the first 10 or so have nothing whatever to do with my query and are clearly automated responses. This is not a Community at all - it is a computerised system which doesn't work for humans - so I regret I am leaving the 'Community' today if I possibly can (hopefully I'm not locked in by some computer system which won't let me unsubscribe!)

Hi petergl,

While asking the simple question - did you by chnce use the Search Function of the forum?

I ask as there is another thread having a similar situation - whihc unfortuenately has not been solved yet - perhpas a look may assist you.

It appears Yank may be on to something. I see you have made only 2 posts, this one and one asking to leave the community, so you have not actually used the Community in a manner that would be able to help you.

If you only used the search function, which can help, but is not the best way to find a solution, you missed out on the real opportunity to get the help you are looking for.

If you post a question in the appropriate product board, the other users and volunteers here can offer suggestions for a solution from our experience with the products.

The choice to leave is obviously yours to make, but you should at least give us a chance.
