360 Deluxe stopped working

I had been subscribed with Norton 360 Deluxe for a very long time and it suddenly would not work. The icon in the desktop gone missing. If I start it,  it just went on a separate dialog box and it just goes and says ' pending' . My macOS is Big Sur and I hear a lot of negative comments about its' effect with the Norton application. I tried uninstalling it (using the Norton remove via terminal of the Mac) and tried reinstalling it but unfortunately it says that there is no application available to run it and also it says that I need the system admin to allow it to run. I am the admin of the computer so I do not understand why it would not work. 

Kindly please help. I need to use the computer without making me worry that I am not protected at all.
