I have a curiosity about norton ghost 2003. Ok I am going to explain it more clearly. In a 250 gb hard drive I have two partitions (one is the Windows XP operating system and other partition have data files). I now buy a 320GB hard drive and made two partitions for the purpose of using norton ghost 2003, i coult pass the operating system partition of the 250 gb hard drive to one of two partitions of the 320GB hard drive. when i passed the files of operating systems using partition to partion using norton ghost 2003, then i restart the computer and I get that bootable disk not found, insert bootable disk or something else error.
So i don’t kniow what’s the problem, because norton ghost 2003 could be work fine with partition to partition image Norton Ghost 2003 would be no problem copying the disk partition to a partition of another disk.
i found a strange solution for this and it is:
i first inserted the windows xp cd and formatted and installed windows xp in a partition of 320 gb hard drive, then i ran a bootable norton ghost 2003 to partition to partition image
from partition 1 of 250 gb hard drive to partition 1 of 320 gb hard drive (where i first installed a windows xp), so norton ghost 2003 passed successfully the creation of imagen and then i restart the computer restart from partition of windows xp of 320 gb hard drive.
so my question is how can i resolve the problem without install some windows xp operating system before to image with norton ghost 2003?
