I came to the Norton family a few years ago (because of several rave reviews from various online review sites) and have been (and am!) very happy with it. It's far less intrusive than older versions and doesn't slow your system down. But there is one thing that I would like to see changed: When I renew my subscription, I think it is more fair and more in line with other software's practices to add 365 days to my remaining days instead of starting at 366 day, thereby deleting all of those days that I already paid for. Luckily I usually renew a few weeks before the expiration date, so I "only" lose a week or two, but imagine if I had a few months to go and was under the completely understandable impression that 365 days would be added to my current remaining days, I would probably not be too happy to lose those days.
If Symantic makes this change, which sems to be common sense to me, Symantic doesn't really lose anything and the customer is happy.
