NIS 2011 installed yesterday and fully updated missed a worm.
This worm came in an e-mail received through hotmail.com and containing the text "c'est quelque chose entre nous" (trad.: it is something between us) and prompting to click the following link (do NOT click this link!!!)
(edited to remove link)
It then installs a worm forwarding the mail to all in the hotmail contacts.
I scanned this PC with NIS 2001 (full system scan). The scan completed without finding any malware.

Please do not put potential links for malware in your post. I have notified the mods to alter the link so it isn't clickable.
If you use ports other than 25 or 110, then your emails aren't scanned. What email program are you using? To practice safe computing, you should not click on any links in emails. You should copy and paste them into your browser if you know who it is from.
You should change your password for your hotmail account also. Download the free version of Malwarebytes and do a full scan with that.
Download the free version, install and update then run a FULL scan. After the scan completes you should post the logs back to this thread.
It is a safer location to get the program from than malwarebytes themselves because some malware creators have large lists of sites that they block. Please be careful to down load the correct program ----the FREE version of MALWAREBYTES
(Thanks to Delph for providing the alternative site)
Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks
